AdSense is the name of Google's incredibly successful online advertising program.
What makes AdSense so good is that the adverts displayed are contextual. That means that any AdSense adverts you display on an page are related to the content on that page, some argue that because the ads are related to the content on the page it is more likely that the ads are relevant to the person viewing the page, and therefore they are more likely to click on the adverts.
In addition to the contextual adverts, AdSense also has CPA ads for product referrals, such as Firefox and Google Apps.
Googles adsense is a great service for beginers and people who do not have much time to dedicate to their online earnings.
The only downside appears to br that google manually approves sites that their adverts appear, there has been cases of very little justification of rejections
